Forum Crashing while trying to view topic

    Hi,

    i was testing out my forum and i accidentally added a pdf to the avatar upload while in my preferences. Now whenever i try to view a topic, the whole forum crashes, takes me back to my website and say that the 3rd party app has encountered an error! how can i fix this?

    Now i cant even manage my preference. It just stays at a loading screen. How can i also prevent this from happening if a customer also makes that mistake? will the whole forum crash again?

    I have fixed this for you, but this is a bug that needs to be addressed. The type of files restricted by the browser is not supposed to allow PDFs to be uploaded.

How to format posts

Champ uses Markdown for formatting text in posts. Certain markup tags (eg. H1) are forbidden to ensure that pages remain semantically compliant. Other tags are automatically sanitized to ensure all content is secure.

  • Emphasis, aka italics, with *asterisks* or _underscores_.
  • Strong emphasis, aka bold, with **asterisks** or __underscores__.
  • Combined emphasis with **asterisks and _underscores_**.
  • Strikethrough uses two tildes. ~~Scratch this.~~
  • Links are added automatically, but can be formatted like so: [My link](https://mylink.com)
