Cannot edit or update topic title, and moderator settings don't work

    • Cannot edit or update topic title
Tagged as 'champ-admin', I tried to edit some topic titles within a forum where only REGISTERED users can view and post. However, each time after clicking 'Update topic' and going back to the topic page, the title stayed unchanged. What's weird is that within the forum where ANYONE can view and post, topic titles can be updated.

    • Moderator settings do not work
In Champ's forum setting page, we are told that we can customise each forum's moderator tag to allow a specific user to be authorised to moderate the forum. I set the moderator tag and tag myself as 'moderator-product-design'. When I try to edit whatever topic or post, it comes up with error 'You do not have permission to access'.

  • Hi there,

That shouldn't be happening. Could you please contact me at support@getchamp.net with your __.myshopify.com account name so I can take a look?

    Thanks

How to format posts

Champ uses Markdown for formatting text in posts. Certain markup tags (eg. H1) are forbidden to ensure that pages remain semantically compliant. Other tags are automatically sanitized to ensure all content is secure.

  • Emphasis, aka italics, with *asterisks* or _underscores_.
  • Strong emphasis, aka bold, with **asterisks** or __underscores__.
  • Combined emphasis with **asterisks and _underscores_**.
  • Strikethrough uses two tildes. ~~Scratch this.~~
  • Links are added automatically, but can be formatted like so: [My link](https://mylink.com)
For more information, take a look at the Markdown Cheatsheet.
