Feature Request - Custom Meta Title

    I have noticed that the same meta title (preset) is used. Instead, would it be possible to automatically set the meta title to the title of each thread/forum? This would help to drive more traffic to the shops and would increase the click-through rates on Google.

    That's a great idea. We'll add that feature to our next release cycle. Expect this some time in August 2018.

    Dynamically generated meta tags are now active.

    (1) Titles are automatically generated from forum and topic titles
    (2) Meta description can be set in the Settings. This meta description is used on all pages that are not forum or topic pages.
    (3) Forum descriptions are pulled from the forum description (set in the dashboard)
    (4) Topic descriptions are pulled from the excerpt of the first post

How to format posts

Champ uses Markdown for formatting text in posts. Certain markup tags (eg. H1) are forbidden to ensure that pages remain semantically compliant. Other tags are automatically sanitized to ensure all content is secure.

  • Emphasis, aka italics, with *asterisks* or _underscores_.
  • Strong emphasis, aka bold, with **asterisks** or __underscores__.
  • Combined emphasis with **asterisks and _underscores_**.
  • Strikethrough uses two tildes. ~~Scratch this.~~
  • Links are added automatically, but can be formatted like so: [My link](https://mylink.com)
