A bit of COVID-19 related update.
First off, I hope every one and your family are safe -- wherever in the world you are.
Second, just a few updates about the next few days to weeks.
Support will be available on the usual channels: this forum and via email. I'll do my best to try and answer questions as soon as I get around to them. As everyone is in lockdown and kids are staying at home, things are a little bit tougher in terms of devoting a continuous chunk of time. As a result, I'm prioritizing things in the following order:
Maintaining system and security updates
My main goal during these unusual times is to ensure system stability and ensuring the Champ platform is secure.
Fixing major bugs
Major bugs will receive priority after ensuring system uptime. I'll be triaging bug issues as they come in. Anything not deemed major will be put on our internal todo list to assess at a later time.
Features
Unfortunately, development will slow down as things are simply less efficient during this time. I'll aim to release 1 feature every 2 weeks. This is the aim, and while long time users know that I try to deliver what I promise, this may prove challenging in the next 4-8 weeks.
I thank every one for their patience, and ask that all feature requests are added to the usual monthly thread for consideration and discussion so that I'll have a central place to review them when the time comes.
Support
Support regarding systems going down or forum unavailability receive the highest priority. Everything else will be considered lower priority, below Fixing major bugs
(above).
We are fortunate that Champ has been in existence for over 3-4 years (I don't even remember), so the platform is stable and relatively bug free.
