Indexing Problems

    Hi There Team,

    I am still facing indexing issues with the forum.

    Like for instance I have added this URL so many times for manual indexing and its been days still its not getting indexed.

    Not sure about the reason. Maybe any of my settings are wrong or something. Do other forums basic questions and answers gets indexed or not.

    Hi there,

    Indexing and the inclusion of the page in the actual search result are not something we're able to control. That is up to Google/Bing or other search engines.

    Note that there are two components to this:

    • Indexing
    • Inclusion of the indexed pages

    Again, these are decided by Google/Bing. I remember reading that it helps if Google somehow finds your pages organically through other links than direct submission. You may wish to add a link somewhere on your primary root page to help with this.

How to format posts

Champ uses Markdown for formatting text in posts. Certain markup tags (eg. H1) are forbidden to ensure that pages remain semantically compliant. Other tags are automatically sanitized to ensure all content is secure.

  • Emphasis, aka italics, with *asterisks* or _underscores_.
  • Strong emphasis, aka bold, with **asterisks** or __underscores__.
  • Combined emphasis with **asterisks and _underscores_**.
  • Strikethrough uses two tildes. ~~Scratch this.~~
  • Links are added automatically, but can be formatted like so: [My link](https://mylink.com)
