Tagging Topics Upon Creation?

Support
  • Anonymous

Currently when I user creates a topic they only have the option to have add a title, a post, and upload a photo if they would like too. We would love our forum to be run by tags but this function is unavailable when creating a topic. However after the topic is created the moderator has the ability to add a tag. Would love for the topic creator to be able to add tags. How is this possible?

Hi there, I believe you emailed me about this just now. I've added this to my TODO for planned features for July.

    Cheers

Water type weakness chart can be used as a topic label to help organize discussions and make relevant information easier to find within an online community. When creating a new forum topic, adding clear and descriptive tags helps users identify the subject quickly, improves topic categorization, and makes related discussions easier to discover at https://pokemoontypecalculator.com/water-type-weakness/.

How to format posts

Champ uses Markdown for formatting text in posts. Certain markup tags (eg. H1) are forbidden to ensure that pages remain semantically compliant. Other tags are automatically sanitized to ensure all content is secure.

  • Emphasis, aka italics, with *asterisks* or _underscores_.
  • Strong emphasis, aka bold, with **asterisks** or __underscores__.
  • Combined emphasis with **asterisks and _underscores_**.
  • Strikethrough uses two tildes. ~~Scratch this.~~
  • Links are added automatically, but can be formatted like so: [My link](https://mylink.com)

For more information, take a look at the Markdown Cheatsheet.
