  • there's lots of great documentation in here, but it's not always easy to find

  • Thanks for your feedback. You’re right there’s a lot of functionality and the documentation lacks a good search function. I’m actually looking to migrate to a new documentation / knowledge base service and have already signed up for one. Do let me know how you think it could be improved. Open to suggestions here.

    Cheers

  • Oh nice! A search function would definitely be handy. I think I somehow also got to a view where the whole guide was on one page, and I could control-f to manually find keywords in the documentation, but wasn't able to get back to it.. did I imagine that, or does that really exist?

  • Hi @michaelr,

The new documentation website will have its own search functionality, but it'll be some time to migrate things over. Writing docs is (surprisingly) more time intensive than writing code! 🤷

How to format posts

Champ uses Markdown for formatting text in posts. Certain markup tags (eg. H1) are forbidden to ensure that pages remain semantically compliant. Other tags are automatically sanitized to ensure all content is secure.

  • Emphasis, aka italics, with *asterisks* or _underscores_.
  • Strong emphasis, aka bold, with **asterisks** or __underscores__.
  • Combined emphasis with **asterisks and _underscores_**.
  • Strikethrough uses two tildes. ~~Scratch this.~~
  • Links are added automatically, but can be formatted like so: [My link](https://mylink.com)
For more information, take a look at the Markdown Cheatsheet.
