    To keep merchants informed about what's coming up next, I'll post here what we're working on next for the app.

    • User point system
    • Forum specific sort order for messages (eg. latest posts first vs last)
    • Bug fixes surrounding post count FIXED
    • User tagging within messages (eg. @joe) will notify @joe
    • User inbox to facilitate user-to-user communications
    • Forum schema
    • Webhooks
    • Add logout link
    • Customize the manage preference link at the top menu
    • Customize the URL for the header logo

    I'm currently researching how best to implement some sort of theme preset to give the forum a different look without too much customized styling.

    What I'm thinking is that it'll allow forum owners to be able to click on a preset and the style of the buttons, font, heading, and text will change with it.

How to format posts

Champ uses Markdown for formatting text in posts. Certain markup tags (eg. H1) are forbidden to ensure that pages remain semantically compliant. Other tags are automatically sanitized to ensure all content is secure.

  • Emphasis, aka italics, with *asterisks* or _underscores_.
  • Strong emphasis, aka bold, with **asterisks** or __underscores__.
  • Combined emphasis with **asterisks and _underscores_**.
  • Strikethrough uses two tildes. ~~Scratch this.~~
  • Links are added automatically, but can be formatted like so: [My link](https://mylink.com)
