I tried to set up notifications, even chatted with Google, and I clicked
Send Test Message when finished. Your instructions say I should have gotten a message at my
Shopify account's main email address. I got nothing. Clearly, I made a mistake somewhere.
I am suspicious of the support Google gave, so please tell me if you think there's something amiss with the information I put in the Champ notifications form. /(Tried to upload a picture, but it failed.)/
SMTP from email: smtp.gmail.com
SMTP Username: firstname.lastname@example.org
SMTP Password: 8-digit password that G Suite generated
SMTP Address: smtp.gmail.com
SMTP Port: 587
If everything looks good to you, I'll check with Google again.
