Hi everyone, I recently opened a First Abu Dhabi Bank account after relocating to the UAE and I am still getting used to how things work here. The branch gave me my debit card and basic details, but I realized later that I was not properly guided on setting up online banking.

I tried logging into the app thinking I could just create access easily, but it keeps asking for information that I am not fully sure about, especially when it comes to registration and linking my mobile number. I also noticed that I am not receiving any verification messages which makes me think maybe my number is not updated correctly in their system.

At the moment I cannot check my balance unless I physically go to an ATM, and that has already caused a small issue since I was not sure if my salary had been credited on time. I would like to sort this out properly so I can just check everything from my phone without depending on machines or visiting the branch again.

Has anyone faced something similar when setting up FAB online banking for the first time in the UAE? I would really appreciate if you could share how you managed to register successfully and how you normally check your balance once everything is working.
