This is a repost of the announcement made in the July 2019 thread of this feature:
A user point system has been added.
Champ has (as of July 26, 2019) started tabulating the points users have.
You will need to activate this system by going to the app's dashboard under Points.
Currently, the forums do not display how many points a user has... but it will soon.
Included with this are:
- Leaderboard page (publicly available -- if you wish)
- Points displayable on user profile page
- API accessible points system
On the backend, there's also the option to set custom points. These points could be for other activities that are non forum related. Not yet available, but these points will be settable via API or within the app's dashboard.
I'm excited to see what you guys use the points system for! As always, please let me know what you think.
