Planned Champ Features (Last updated August 2019)

As usual, a monthly thread is created to keep our customers informed about what new features are coming up.

Completed:

• Restrict topic creation to moderators only
• Add option to display registration link in the header
• Points leaderboard/show points in user profile DONE, but needs some polishing. Will post details about leaderboard feature soon. You can check out our own forum's leaderboard here: https://getchamp.myshopify.com/community/champ/points
• Add extra email notification whenever messages need to be moderated Currently beta
• Add ability to use nickname instead of customer name in the header
• Display error message for already existing nickname

Upcoming:

• ReCaptcha - August
• Timestamps for private messages - August
• Add customization (eg. nickname) to leaderboard - September

Feature added today. You can now allow users to only reply to posts (ie. not allow them to create new threads/topics).

To enable this setting, go to the individual forum in the dashboard and enable the following:

Restrict topic creation to moderators only (ie. users can post replies, but cannot create new threads)

You can now add a registration link to the header, in addition to the existing Login link:

Email notification options added to notify moderators whenever posts requiring moderation is present.
