Hey everyone,

Paid ad platforms are evolving fast in 2025, and I wanted to start a quick discussion around what’s actually working when it comes to maximizing ROI on Google Ads and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Ads.

On Google Ads, I’ve seen solid returns from using exact match keywords paired with tightly aligned ad copy. Performance Max is getting better, but only when supported with strong creative and clear conversion goals.

With Meta Ads, creative is still everything. Short-form video content, especially UGC-style is outperforming static images for both prospecting and retargeting. Also, lookalike audiences based on high-quality customer lists seem to be more reliable than broad interest targeting post-iOS updates.

No matter the platform, A/B testing and strong landing page UX are crucial. You can drive traffic all day, but if your site doesn’t convert, ROI tanks fast.

What strategies are working best for you right now? Would love to hear your insights.
